Concept Development

I spent the early part of the week researching different concepts and white papers to move the www.boonrepublic.com concept along. Last week we decided that there was going to be some changes either on the database or by the creation of a new layer to manage the Residents & citizens of Boon. So I worked on some things that I could spend the time on that would not cause me to loose time and effort if changes had to be made. From a design concept I have used an OpenSource software called FREEMIND, that is available for Windows or Mac (I tend to use my MAC’s even though I have a windows machine) I was able to layout a series of concepts for the areas and functions of Boon, including some for the business concept of Boon. I am hopeful that they will serve a series of uses including for a business plan. Now usually the business plan is the first thing someone might do but I find that creating something from an idea and allowing just enough development to see it better. Think of it as a mockup that a manufacturer might use to see if they are onto something. I think we are onto something with Boon.

Well it has been a week where we were looking for solutions to a database problem allowing multiple instances of the WordPress system. We have decided to create an API for a communication layer that will allow for interaction of Boon Republic members we call (residents and citizens) at www.boonrepublic.com. That allows us to proceed as plan as we lay down the nuts and bolts of the layer.

In or meeting this saturday we covered a lot of territory having to do with the structure of the database of boonrepublic.com. as t changing the database itself or creating a new layer of interaction over the database with multiple instances of the system. we are still looking at the process that would take to create the ability to travel from city to city in the system.

we have been working on the technical and conceptual roadmap for a virtual world created using the wordpress platform. I know it seems crazy but we have analyzed wordpress and believe that with engineering help it can be done. As I mentioned in my last post this site will be a diary of the how the process might look with the site located at www.boonrepublic.com. Now we are not speaking about a 3 dimensional world like second Life. But aplace that can be laid out with a story and design layouts for an interesting concept on WordPress.
